In the neighborhood

The weather cooperated for an evening of Halloween fun in Rippey on Sunday, Oct. 31. Cars were parked on Main St with families handing out treats to the many kids, some adults and at least one dog, who dressed in the various favorite characters of the season.

Mark and Cindy Devilbiss’s taco-attired dog was a hit with other Halloween party go-ers.

The library was open for viewing several decorated pumpkins that were done during the week and several people were decorating pumpkins during the evening, as well.  The evening was well spent, visiting with those who came together to provide this time for the youngsters and the “young at heart!”  This event was hosted by the Rippey city council and the Rippey library board.
